Community & training room

The former council chamber is now a light and airy training and meeting space. It is named after one of the founding trustees of the Key House Trust, Derek Stobbs.

Derek Stobbs Training Room

The room is double height, and comfortably holds 24 people seated at tables, boardroom style. It will also accommodate a total of 36 people if the room is set out theatre style. The furniture arrangements are flexible so please ask about alternative room layouts.

The Derek Stobbs room is available seven days per week, for meetings, exhibitions, training etc. The cost to voluntary and community groups is £10 per hour, and £15 to other hirers.

The Trustees regret that the room is not available for private parties.

Tea and coffee making facilities can be provided, and there is filtered and cooled water available. Key House is happy to recommend local caterers to provide a cold buffet at lunchtime or in the evening for meetings.

The training room has wireless Internet access and some equipment is also available to hire, including a laptop and large plasma tv, OHP projector, and tv and video.
